About Ann Michal & Cast

Ann Michal has been commanding the spotlight since the age of eight—and she’s never been afraid of a little drama.

​

By nine, Ann was a regular performer on the Al Alberts Show, launching a career that would take her from television appearances and vocal competitions to theaters, casinos, special events, and stages of every kind. She was also featured as a special guest on NBC’s Holiday Special alongside national performers.

​

More than 3,000 performances later, Ann continues to bring powerhouse vocals, theatrical energy, and a flair for the unexpected to every stage she touches.

​

But Ann doesn’t just step into the spotlight—she creates it. Through Ann Michal Productions, she develops and produces themed entertainment and special productions for audiences of all ages, including children’s events. One of her greatest passions is bringing live entertainment to senior communities, where she continues to present more than 100 shows each year.

​

Tonight, Ann trades the ordinary for the mysterious as Broadway takes a walk on the darker side.

​

So settle in, beware what may be lurking in the wings…and enjoy the show.

Marcus Chaney

Marcus Chaney may be a local favorite, but his voice has traveled the world. From Broadway and National Tours to international stages across Europe and Asia—and even performances at sea—Marcus has built a career that refuses to stay in one place…or one musical genre.

​

His credits extend beyond the stage to soap operas, commercials, infomercials, and voice-over work.

​

And when the lights go down, don’t try putting Marcus into a musical box. Asked what he sings, his answer says it all: “Everything from opera to rock and everything in between.”

For Broadway After Dark, that kind of versatility could be dangerous. Expect the unexpected.

Tamer Tewfik

Tamer Tewfik is a singer-guitarist, pianist, and bandleader whose musical talents have taken him across styles, stages, and more than a few octaves. The leader of Tamer Tewfik Music, he holds degrees in Piano Performance (BM) and Teaching (MAT), with a repertoire spanning pop, jazz, and the Great American Songbook.

​

Throughout his career, Tamer has performed with legendary artists including Les Paul, Grover Washington Jr., Stanley Clarke, Eddie Gomez, and Trudy Pitts. Today, he can be found performing live at venues throughout the tri-state area.

​

For Broadway After Dark, Tamer is trading the Great American Songbook for something a little more sinister. When the piano starts playing after midnight…you may want to check who—or what—is sitting at the keys.

Kelly Beamer

Kelly Beamer is a South Jersey native who has spent more than 20 years bringing memorable characters to life on stages throughout the tri-state area. Favorite roles include Paulette in Legally Blonde, Judy Bernly in 9 to 5, and the dangerously dazzling Velma in Chicago.

​

A Rowan University alumna, Kelly holds a BA in Theatre Performance and an MST in Theatre Education. She spent 13 years as a public school theatre educator and now works as a private acting coach with KTD Voice Studio, helping the next generation find their own spotlight.

​

For Broadway After Dark, Kelly is stepping out of the classroom and into the shadows. After all, she’s played Velma—so a few phantoms, frights, and things that go bump backstage shouldn’t scare her.
